Right off I have to say that this movie was advertised wrong. When you look at the poster you think it's a typical romantic comedy, even though it has funny parts, it is not a romantic comedy. In fact the love story was the weakest part of the movie and it's the part that was advertised. The movie is about a man named Burke Ryan (Aaron Eckhart) and he loses his wife in a car accident. After his tramatic event he writes a book about getting over the loss of your loved one. (Even though he himself has not gotten over his loss) Meanwhile he falls in love with Eloise Chandler (Jennifer Aniston) she is a florist with her own flower shop. In the end Burke reveals a large part of his story that he never shared with anyone. I felt that the ending to this movie was very powerful and moving. Aaron Eckhart did a incredible job with that ending scene, I almost had tears in my eyes. I think what they meant by the title was even though death and sorrow is all around you love still happens and that it comes when you least expect it. Overall this movie was touching and it really made you feel for the main character. And to speak in technical terms, the cinematography was beautiful. It was filmmed in Seattle and shows off the skyline in one particular scene. It had cute parts, funny parts, sad parts and touching parts so it caters to different people, but it is not really a "guy" movie.
